Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 12-3425

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

All bonds issued hereunder shall be submitted to the attorney general of Kansas for examination, and when such bonds have been examined and certified as legal obligations of the issuing authority by the attorney general in accordance with such requirements as he or she may make, the same shall be incontestable in any court in the state of Kansas unless suit thereon shall be brought in a court having jurisdiction thereof within ninety (90) days from the date of such approval.
