Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 3-119

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
  • Municipal: means pertaining to a municipality as herein defined. See Kansas Statutes 3-119a
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

Such additional or supplemental airports shall be under the jurisdiction and control of the board of park commissioners or the airport authority, as is provided by Kan. Stat. Ann. § 3-114, and such additional or supplemental airport or airports shall be governed by all of the laws of the state of Kansas relating to the equipping, improving, operating, maintaining and regulating of municipal airports or municipal fields for aviation purposes.
