Under the Kansas Statutes, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:| Class | Prison | Fine |

(a) It shall be unlawful for any individual to represent oneself as an emergency medical service provider unless such individual holds a valid certificate as such under this act.
(b) Any violation of subsection (a) shall constitute a class B misdemeanor.
