  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.

Notice of the action of the board in denying, suspending or revoking a license or certificate of authorization issued under Kan. Stat. Ann. § 74-7036, and amendments thereto, shall be given in accordance with the provisions of the Kansas administrative procedure act. Any person aggrieved by any decision of the board may appeal such action in accordance with the provisions of the Kansas judicial review act.
