  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

For an image recognition and information storage system which is used by an agency to record and store information from records, papers or documents and which complies with standards recommended by the state archivist and approved by the state records board pursuant to Kan. Stat. Ann. § 45-412, and amendments thereto, and Kan. Stat. Ann. § 45-414, and amendments thereto, the agency’s statement of the information shall be deemed to be an original record of the information for all purposes, including introduction into evidence in all courts or administrative agencies.
