Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 84-2-308

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Residence: means the place which is adopted by a person as the person's place of habitation and to which, whenever the person is absent, the person has the intention of returning. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
  • Seller: means a person who sells or contracts to sell goods. See Kansas Statutes 84-2-103

Unless otherwise agreed

(a) the place for delivery of goods is the seller‘s place of business or if he has none his residence; but

(b) in a contract for sale of identified goods which to the knowledge of the parties at the time of contracting are in some other place, that place is the place for their delivery; and

(c) documents of title may be delivered through customary banking channels.
