Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 12:1-1410
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
R.S. 12:1-1405 through 1-1409 apply to a dissolved corporation regardless of whether the dissolution is voluntary or judicial.
