Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 12:1110
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
As used in this Chapter:
A. “Professional Optometry Corporation” means a corporation organized pursuant to this Chapter for the practice of optometry as provided for by La. Rev. Stat. 37:1041 through La. Rev. Stat. 37:1067 inclusive.
B. All terms used in this Chapter and in Chapter 1 of this Title shall have the same meanings when used in this Chapter as when used in Chapter 1.
