Louisiana Revised Statutes 17:1962 – As used in this Part, the following terms have the following meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

- Department: means the state Department of Education. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 17:1962
- School: means the Jimmy D. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 17:1962
- State Board: means the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 17:1962
- State superintendent: means the state superintendent of education. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 17:1962
As used in this Part, the following terms have the following meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
(1) “Department” means the state Department of Education.
(2) “School” means the Jimmy D. Long, Sr. Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts.
(3) “State Board” means the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education.
(4) “State superintendent” means the state superintendent of education.
