Terms Used In Louisiana Revised Statutes 33:9100.12
- Commission: means the East New Orleans Neighborhood Advisory Commission. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 33:9100.1
- Governing authority: means the governing authority of the city of New Orleans. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 33:9100.1
A. The executive board shall submit a proposed budget to the commission annually for review. The commission may make any amendments to the budget it deems necessary. The commission shall adopt an annual budget in accordance with the Louisiana Local Government Budget Act, La. Rev. Stat. 39:1301 et seq. The budget and all amendments shall be subject to the approval of the governing authority.
B. The commission shall be subject to audit by the legislative auditor pursuant to La. Rev. Stat. 24:513.
C. Except as otherwise specifically provided in this Chapter, the commission and executive board shall be subject to the Open Meetings Law, the Public Records Law, and the Code of Governmental Ethics.
