- Association: means a savings association, thrift institution, homestead, building and loan association, savings and loan association, or society, including both capital stock and mutual associations. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 6:703
The provisions of La. Rev. Stat. 6:327 and 327.1 relative to the disposition of abandoned safety deposit box contents shall be applicable to savings and loan associations chartered under the Louisiana Savings and Loan Association Law in the same manner as they are applicable to state banks.
