- Commissioner: means the commissioner of financial institutions, of the state of Louisiana, in his capacity as supervisor of associations. See Louisiana Revised Statutes 6:703
The commissioner may issue rules, regulations, or orders to implement this Chapter and to further its purposes, and when issued in accordance with La. Rev. Stat. 49:961, such rules, regulations, and orders shall have the force of law.
