§ 37:3701 This Part shall be known and may be cited as the “Behavior Analyst Practice Act”.
§ 37:3702 As used in this Part the following words, terms, and phrases have the following meaning ascribed to them in this Section, unless the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
§ 37:3703 A. There is hereby created within the Louisiana Department of Health the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board which shall be subject to the provisions of R.S. 36:803.

§ 37:3715 The provisions of this Chapter shall not be construed as prohibiting or restricting the practice of any of the following:

§ 37:3717 A. The board may investigate any evidence or allegation which appears to show that any person is or may be in violation of any provision of this Chapter.

  • Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.

  • Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
  • Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
