- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
In such case, if any heir is a minor, the court shall order notice to the guardian, and may appoint a guardian ad litem, if necessary, and direct all necessary amendments in the forms of proceeding.
