- Subscriber reserves: means those reserves held by the corporation for the protection of subscribers that are the excess of the corporation's assets over its liabilities as set forth in the annual statement of the corporation as of December 31st of the year next preceding the making of the investment or contained in an audited financial report, as defined in Title 24?A, section 221?A, of more current origin prepared on the basis of statutory accounting principles; [PL 2001, c.
