  • Amortization: Paying off a loan by regular installments.
  • Apprentice electrician: means an apprentice who is engaged in a written agreement to work at and learn the trade of an electrician under the direct supervision of a licensed master, journeyman or limited electrician in an apprenticeship program registered pursuant to 29 Code of Federal Regulations, Section 29. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 1101
  • Authority: means the Washington County Development Authority. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 5 Sec. 13083-B
  • Beverage: means beer, ale or other drink produced by fermenting malt, spirits, wine, hard cider, wine coolers, soda or noncarbonated water and all nonalcoholic carbonated or noncarbonated drinks in liquid form and intended for internal human consumption, except for unflavored rice milk, unflavored soymilk, milk and dairy-derived products.   • Board: means the Electricians' Examining Board. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 1101
  • Department: means the Department of Environmental Protection. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 454
  • Electrical installations: includes complete installations related to photovoltaic, fuel cell and wind power generation systems. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 1101
  • in the State: means within the exterior limits of the State and includes all territory within these limits owned by or ceded to the United States of America. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 454
  • initiator: means a manufacturer, distributor or other person who initiates a deposit on a beverage container under section 3103. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 454
  • Limited electrician: means a person licensed to make electrical installations limited to a specific type of electrically operated equipment or to specific electrical installations only authorized by this license. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 1101
  • Local redemption center: means a place of business that deals in acceptance of empty returnable beverage containers from either consumers or from dealers, or both, and that must be licensed under section 3113. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 454
  • Master electrician: means a licensed person qualified under this chapter to engage in the business of installing electrical wires, conduits, apparatus, fixtures and other electrical equipment. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 1101
  • Oversight: Committee review of the activities of a Federal agency or program.
  • Person: means an individual, partnership, corporation or other legal entity. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 454
  • Person: means an individual, corporation, partnership, firm, organization or other legal entity. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 30-A Sec. 2001
  • Prosecute: To charge someone with a crime. A prosecutor tries a criminal case on behalf of the government.
  • Utility corporation: means a utility that is not a public utility, as defined in Title 35-A, section 102, or a person, firm or corporation subject to the jurisdiction of the Federal Communications Commission. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 32 Sec. 1101
