  • Foreign support agreement: includes a maintenance arrangement or authentic instrument under the Convention. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 19-A Sec. 3311
  • Foreign support order: means a support order issued by a foreign tribunal. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 19-A Sec. 2802
  • Foreign tribunal: includes a competent authority under the Convention. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 19-A Sec. 2802
  • Founding entity: means any municipality or county that has on its own or together with one or more other municipalities or counties developed an airport authority proposal for approval under this chapter. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 6 Sec. 172
  • Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
  • Issuing tribunal: means the tribunal of a state or foreign country that issues a support order or a judgment determining parentage of a child. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 19-A Sec. 2802

  • Support order: means a judgment, decree, order, decision or directive, whether temporary, final or subject to modification, issued in a state or foreign country for the benefit of a child, a spouse or a former spouse, that provides for monetary support, health care, arrearages, retroactive support or reimbursement for financial assistance provided to an individual obligee in place of child support.
