Terms Used In Maryland Code, EDUCATION 13-312

  • state: means :

    (1) a state, possession, territory, or commonwealth of the United States; or

    (2) the District of Columbia. See
This subtitle, being necessary for the health and welfare of the State and its inhabitants, shall be liberally construed to effect the purposes hereof.
