- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
This subtitle does not impair any term or condition of any bond, note, or other obligation of a municipality issued by the municipality before Article XI-E of the Maryland Constitution took effect.
