Section 85. Sections sixty to eighty-three, inclusive, shall not apply to the juvenile reformatories, other than the Massachusetts reformatory, or prevent minors of any age from receiving manual training or industrial education in or in connection with any school which has duly been approved by the school committee or by the department of education.
