As used in this act:
(a) “Division” means the division of minority business enterprise.

- Department: means the department of commerce. See Michigan Laws 125.1222
- Division: means the division of minority business enterprise. See Michigan Laws 125.1222
- Minority business enterprise: means a business enterprise that is owned or controlled solely by 1 or more socially or economically disadvantaged persons. See Michigan Laws 125.1222
(b) “Department” means the department of commerce.
(c) “Minority business enterprise” means a business enterprise that is owned or controlled solely by 1 or more socially or economically disadvantaged persons. The disadvantage may arise from cultural, racial, chronic economic circumstances or background, or other similar cause.
