  • shall not apply: means that the pertinent provision is not operative as to certain persons or things or in conjunction with a particular date or dates. See Michigan Laws 8.4c
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
   Section 64 of Act No. 59 of the Public Acts of 1915, as amended, being section 247.464 of the Compiled Laws of 1948 is repealed. The provisions of Act No. 187 of the Public Acts of 1905, as amended, being section 570.101 to 570.105 of the Compiled Laws of 1948, shall not apply to contracts for public buildings or other public works except construction and maintenance contracts of the state highway commissioner.
