Terms Used In Michigan Laws 15.37

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.      Such oath may be taken and subscribed before any justice of the supreme court, a judge of any court of record, the secretary of state, the attorney general, any mayor of a city, or the clerk of any court of record.
