Terms Used In Michigan Laws 324.60108

  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • Governing institution: means the state university within which the Michigan geological survey is established or continued under section 60102. See Michigan Laws 324.60101
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
  The Michigan geological survey may receive money or other assets to implement this part from any of the following:
  (a) Funds appropriated by the legislature.
  (b) Federal, state, municipal, or private grants.
  (c) Any other source approved by the governing institution.
