Terms Used In Michigan Laws 328.219
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Department: means the department of labor and economic growth. See Michigan Laws 328.213
- Registrant: means a person who has registered with the department pursuant to section 6. See Michigan Laws 328.215
The purchaser or assignee of a registrant‘s business operations shall notify the department and the contract buyers of the purchase or assignment of the prepaid contracts.
