(1) The committee, a board, or a task force may adopt bylaws for the regulation of its internal affairs.
  (2) The committee, a disciplinary subcommittee, a board, or a task force shall report its activities annually to the department. The report shall include statistical data on applicants for examination, licensure, and registration; allegations and disciplinary actions against licensees and registrants; and other matters relating to the licensure, registration, and regulatory activity of the boards or a task force as prescribed by the department.

  • Board: as used in this part means each board created in this article and as used in any other part covering a specific health profession means the board created in that part. See Michigan Laws 333.16103
  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • Registration: means an authorization only for the use of a designated title which use would otherwise be prohibited under this article. See Michigan Laws 333.16108
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.   (3) The committee, a disciplinary subcommittee, a board, or a task force may perform acts and make determinations necessary and proper to carry out its functions and the department may contract with other state agencies, private agencies, organizations, and consultants to assist the committee, disciplinary subcommittee, board, or task force to perform the acts or to aid in carrying out functions of the committee, board, or task force.
