(1) A sanction against an individual licensed under this article in this state by another state or jurisdiction may be grounds for disciplinary action in this state if the offense is substantially similar to a violation of this act or rules promulgated under this act.
  (2) A licensee shall report to the department sanctions taken by another state or jurisdiction against his or her appraisal license issued by that other state within 30 days after the final order imposing disciplinary action.
