  • Appraisal: A determination of property value.
  • Appraisal: means that term as defined in section 2601. See Michigan Laws 339.2661
  • Public law: A public bill or joint resolution that has passed both chambers and been enacted into law. Public laws have general applicability nationwide.
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.   Not less than monthly, the department shall compile a list of appraisal management company licensees and federally regulated appraisal management companies under this article, provide it to the appraisal subcommittee of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council as required by section 1109 of the financial institutions reform, recovery, and enforcement act of 1989, Public Law 101-73, 12 USC 3338, and remit the appropriate fee under section 38a of the state license fee act, 1979 PA 152, MCL 338.2238a.
