  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.    The board shall be deemed a state agency, and as such shall have the right to acquire property as provided under the provisions of Act No. 149 of the Public Acts of 1911, as amended, being section 213.21 to 213.41, inclusive, of the Compiled Laws of 1948.
