Terms Used In Michigan Laws 404.205

  • person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, as well as to individuals. See Michigan Laws 8.3l
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
  • Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
   Any person who shall be treated at any institute under the provisions of this statute may at any time reimburse the county by paying to the county treasurer the amount thereof, and the treasurer shall give him a receipt for the amount so paid, which receipt shall state that such payment is for reimbursement, as aforesaid, and the amount so paid shall be turned into the general fund.
