  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
   A warehouseman, or any officer, agent or servant of a warehouseman, who fraudulently issues or aids in fraudulently issuing a receipt for goods knowing that it contains any false statement, shall be guilty of a crime, and upon conviction shall be punished for each offense by imprisonment not exceeding 1 year or by fine not exceeding 1,000 dollars, or by both.
