- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
Subject to the requirements of chapters 50 and 52, any number of persons, not less than 7, who are residents of this state, may form a limited liability pool for the purpose of carrying on upon the assessment or cooperative plan, liability insurance as provided in section 6506.
