  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
   A health care corporation may enter into special participating contracts with health care providers for the provision of primary health care benefits to children enrolled in a Michigan caring program created under section 436. Special participating contracts entered into under this section are not subject to section 502 to 518.
