  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.    A dental care corporation, before beginning business and at all times while engaged in business, shall maintain reserves in such form and amount as the commissioner of insurance may determine. Reserve funds shall be invested only in securities permitted by the laws of this state for the investment of assets of life insurance companies.
