- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. The state insurance fund is abolished on June 30, 1965, and any unencumbered balance in the fund at that time shall revert to the several state funds in the same proportion as the last previous premium assessments against such funds.
