- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. It shall be a good cause of challenge to any juror in any justice or police court in any city, township or village in this state, in addition to the other causes of challenge allowed by law, that such person has served as a juror in any justice or police court in any such city, township or village in this state 2 times within 1 year previous to such challenge.
