  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.    Where the director of social services is satisfied that reciprocal provisions will be made by any foreign state for the enforcement in that foreign state of support orders made within this state, the director of social services, with the approval of the attorney general, may declare the foreign state to be a reciprocating state for the purpose of this act. Any such order may be revoked by the director of social services, and the state with respect to which the order was made shall then cease to be a reciprocating state for the purposes of this act.
