Terms Used In Michigan Laws 8.21

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories.    That the secretary of state be, and he is hereby required, to cause to be arranged and bound in a substantial manner, all acts and joint resolutions of the several legislatures of this state, which become laws under the constitution, so far as the same may be on file in his office.
