  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • hereafter: means the time after the statute containing it takes effect. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • Property: includes real and personal property. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020
  • Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.

The state highways and transportation commission of Missouri is authorized to accept and receive as trustee moneys, credits, property or securities from any county, civil subdivision or interested parties who may contract to contribute toward the cost of construction of any road or bridge which is now being constructed or may be hereafter constructed by said state highways and transportation commission as a part of the state highway system as security for the performance of said contract of said county, civil subdivision or interested parties as provided by law and said commission is authorized and directed to deposit said moneys, properties and securities in various banks or trust companies throughout the state.
