  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.

The capital stock of every such association may be increased by the filing of an amendment to its articles of agreement, setting forth the amount of such increase and the payment of the incorporation tax and fees thereon, as required by section 275.050.
