  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

The general and business corporation law of Missouri, chapter 351, shall be applicable to industrial development corporations organized pursuant to this chapter except that any provision of this chapter shall take precedence over any provision of chapter 351 which conflicts with it.
