Terms Used In Missouri Laws 37.745

  • Bequest: Property gifted by will.
  • Devise: To gift property by will.
  • Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
  • Property: includes real and personal property. See Missouri Laws 1.020

The governor’s council on disability may receive funds and property by gift, devise, bequest or otherwise and may solicit funds to be used in carrying out the purposes of sections 37.735 to 37.745.
