  • Recorder of deeds: the separate recorder of deeds in those counties where separate from the circuit clerk and the circuit clerk and ex officio recorder of deeds in those counties where the offices are combined. See Missouri Laws 59.005

Beginning January 1, 1998, in the City of St. Louis, the recorder of deeds shall receive as total compensation an annual salary of fifty-eight thousand three hundred dollars and beginning January 1, 1999, in the City of St. Louis, the recorder of deeds shall receive as total compensation an annual salary of sixty-four thousand one hundred thirty dollars. Thereafter, the compensation of the recorder of deeds of the City of St. Louis may be annually increased by an amount equal to the annual salary adjustment for employees of the City of St. Louis as approved by the board of alderman of said city.
