  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

In addition to those sums authorized prior to the effective date of this section, the board of fund commissioners of the state of Missouri, as authorized by Sections 37(c) and 37(e) of Article III of the Constitution of the State of Missouri, may borrow, on the credit of this state, the sum of thirty-five million dollars in the manner and for the purposes set out in chapters 640 and 644.
