  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.

Section 644.570 shall become effective only upon approval by the voters of a constitutional amendment submitted to them by the 94th general assembly, amending Article III, Section 37(h), regarding financing and constructing storm water control plans, studies, and projects.
