7-7-4624. Use of fiscal agent. Any municipality shall have power, in connection with the issuance of refunding bonds:
Terms Used In Montana Code 7-7-4624
- Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
- Municipality: means any city or town of this state. See Montana Code 7-7-4602
- Refunding bonds: means notes, bonds, certificates, or other obligations of a municipality issued pursuant to this part or pursuant to any other law as supplemented by or in conjunction with this part. See Montana Code 7-7-4602
(1)to appoint a fiscal agent;
(2)to provide for the powers, duties, and functions and compensation of such fiscal agent;
(3)to limit the liabilities of such fiscal agent;
(4)to prescribe a method for the resignation, removal, merger, or consolidation of such fiscal agent and the appointment of a successor fiscal agent and the transfer of rights and properties to such successor fiscal agent.
