Terms Used In Nebraska Statutes 71-904.01

• Firearm-related disability: means a person is not permitted to (1) purchase, possess, ship, transport, or receive a firearm under either state or federal law, (2) obtain a certificate to purchase, lease, rent, or receive transfer of a handgun under section 69-2404, or (3) obtain a permit to carry a concealed handgun under the Concealed Handgun Permit Act. • Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). ^{Source: OCC}
• Person: shall include bodies politic and corporate, societies, communities, the public generally, individuals, partnerships, limited liability companies, joint-stock companies, and associations. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
• State: when applied to different states of the United States shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories organized by Congress. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
