A person is not liable on an instrument unless the person:

- person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
1. Signed the instrument; or
2. Is represented by an agent or representative who signed the instrument and the signature is binding on him or her under NRS 104.3402.
