The board of trustees of a school district shall have the power:

- Public schools: means all kindergartens and elementary schools, junior high schools and middle schools, high schools, charter schools and any other schools, classes and educational programs which receive their support through public taxation and, except for charter schools, whose textbooks and courses of study are under the control of the State Board. See Nevada Revised Statutes 385.007
1. To purchase, rent or otherwise acquire supplies and equipment necessary for the operation of the public schools and other school facilities of the school district.
2. To furnish writing and drawing paper, pens, ink, blackboards, erasers, crayons, lead pencils and other necessary supplies for the use of the schools.
3. To repair any equipment.
