Any person who furnishes false information to a physician, advanced practice registered nurse, funeral director, midwife or informant for the purpose of making incorrect certification of births or deaths shall be punished by a fine of not more than $250.

- advanced practice registered nurse: means a registered nurse who holds a valid license as an advanced practice registered nurse issued by the State Board of Nursing pursuant to NRS 632. See Nevada Revised Statutes 440.005
